You are immediately disconnected when attempting to start Remote Control when the host is a Mac. You also receive the following error message in the details of the resulting dialog box:
Failed to start Remote Control process: 10009
Restart the host computer, as follows:
If you have direct access to the Mac, simply reboot as normal
If connecting remotely, log in to LogMeIn,com and go to the Home page. Connect to the computer and then go to Preferences > Advanced Settings > Reboot Options > Hard Reboot.
Once the computer is restarted, Remote Control access should be restored.
