When connecting Files for LogMeIn through the LogMeIn Client I get an error message. What can I do?

When trying to connect to LogMeIn Files on the LogMeIn Client, you receive the following error:

{drive letter}:\ is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure that the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure that you’re connected to the network or Internet, then try again. If the location still can’t be found, it might have been moved or deleted.


Solution one:  Reboot the host

Reboot the computer that has the LogMeIn Client software installed.

Solution two: Perform a simple reinstall

  1. Uninstall the LogMeIn Client on your PC.
  2. reboot the PC
  3. Install a fresh version of LogMeIn using a link from here.
