Answer

Symptom

On a Mac, the following Accessibility Access (Events) warning appears:

"LMIGuiAgent" would like to control this computer using accessibility features
Grant Access to this application in Security & Privacy, located in System Preferences

Cause

Due to Apple security measures, you must grant Accessibility permissions to LogMeIn in order to take Remote Control of the host.

Resolution

On macOS Mojave, Accessibility Access must be granted when physically at the host. On other Operating Systems, you can change the Accessibility Access settings remotely.
  1. On the Accessibility Access (Events) dialog box, click Open Security Preferences. The Security & Privacy window appears.
  2. In the bottom-left corner, click the lock icon. An Authentication dialog box appears.
  3. Log in with an Administrator account.
  4. Select LMIGUIAgent.
Result:
Remote control is now possible on your Mac.
