I get an error message when activating LogMeIn Antivirus. What can I do?

Symptom 

When installing LogMeIn Antivirus, you see the error message

Unable to activate LogMeIn Antivirus.

Resolution

Solution One: Update the LogMeIn Control Panel

On the host computer, upgrade to the most recent version of LogMeIn. You can download LogMeIn here.

Solution Two: Redeploy the LogMeIn Antivirus configuration

  1.  Restart the host PC
  2. In LogMeIn Central, go to Antivirus > Manage and select the affected host.
  3. Under Actions, select Install LogMeIn Antivirus
  4. Under LogMeIn Antivirus Policy, assign a policy to the host.
LogMeIn Antivirus should activate.
