How do I clear saved passwords in the LogMeIn Client desktop app?

Two types of passwords can be saved in the LogMeIn Client desktop app.  

LogMeIn Account Password

To prevent automatic login on a device, you must make sure the device is not saved as a trusted device.

  1. Open the LogMeIn Client and click File > Log out. The login screen is displayed.
  2. Click LogMeIn.
  3. Make sure you have NOT selected I trust this device. Keep me logged in.
  4. Click Log in.

Computer Passwords

Option 1:

  1. Open the LogMeIn Client and log into your account.
  2. Right-click the computer that needs its password removed.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Clear the password fields by highlighting the text with your mouse and pressing Delete.
  5. When you are finished, click OK.
Option 2:
  1. Open the LogMeIn Client.
  2. Log in.
  3. Click on the computer you want to work with
  4. Click the info button for that computer. User-added image
  5. At the bottom of the computer info screen, click Forget stored credentials.
