Why is the Technician Console disabled when I log in?

Answer

If you are unable to launch your Rescue Technician Console when you sign in, please check the following.

  1. Please log into your Rescue account as a Master Administrator.
  2. Click Launch Admin Center from the My Account page.
  3. Make sure you are under the Organization tab at the top.
  4. Look on the left tree pane for the technician name with which you are trying to login.  If there is a small red "X" over the tech, this indicates the tech is disabled.  Right click on the name and choose Enable.

You should then be able to launch the Technician console as that user.  If you are unable to enable the tech, this may be due to not having enough available technician seats on the account.  If this is the case, please contact us directly.
