Why is my BlackBerry applet unable to connect to the Rescue Gateway?

Answer

On your BlackBerry device, click Application Button > Options > Advanced Options > TCP.  If this page is empty, you may need to input the correct APN settings for your carrier.  APN settings are sometimes necessary, in order to allow internet access to any 3rd party applications.

Most carriers' settings can be found here: http://www.pinstack.com/carrier_settings_apn_gateway.html

If you cannot find your APN settings on that page, or they are incorrect, you should contact your carrier for the correct settings.
