Why do I have to keep reinstalling LogMeIn's ActiveX control?

Answer

Under Windows Vista, Server 2008 or newer, User Account Control (UAC) will block the installation of LogMeIn's ActiveX control when logged into Windows as a Standard User.

To remedy this, you must enable the ActiveX installer service and add LogMeIn's URL.  This will allow a Standard User account to automatically install the ActiveX control and not interfere with User Account Control.
