What does error 12017 mean?

Answer

If you get a 12017 error when you are trying to connect to your computers in LogMeIn Ignition, it usually indicates that something is forcibly blocking the connection.  This is most likely due to a firewall or proxy.

To resolve this error, you will need to allow the connection by opening your firewall/proxy software and allowing the LMIIgnition.exe file Internet Access.  Once this has been configured, try to reconnect.

If you are still experiencing the error, you will need to contact your network administrator for further help.
