What does 'Error Code 10060' mean?

Answer

"Error Code 10060" usually indicates a proxy-related problem and requires a proxy configuration in Internet Explorer.

If you are running a proxy, please check the proxy configuration in Internet Explorer:

  1. Open Tools and click Internet Options.
  2. Click the Connections tab.
  3. Chose the Lan Settings button.
  4. Manually enter your proxy as an IP address and make sure the proxy port number is also set.
Important:
Please do not use automatic proxy configuration unless told to by your system administrator.
