Running a NAS device?
You must have access to a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device to use it as backup storage. To check whether you have access to a NAS device, open Windows Explorer and make sure that your device is listed.
To run a scheduled backup on a network drive, you must first authenticate yourself to the network. To do so, open LogMeIn Backup and enter your domain name and password on the User Settings > Scheduled Backups
System accounts generally cannot access network drives; therefore, if you select the Run Scheduled Backups under the System Account
option, your scheduled backup may fail to complete on a NAS device.Important
NAS devices generally do not accept Local Windows credentials unless they are a member of a domain.
