Answer

Symptom

On Windows 7 hosts, when attempting to blank the screen, you are prompted to install the LogMeIn DPMS driver but the installation fails.

Cause

LogMeIn is unable to install any drivers on Windows computers that do not have SHA-2 code signing.

Resolution

On the Windows 7 host, ensure the Microsoft Security Advisory 3033929 update is installed.
To install Windows updates:
  1. From the Windows desktop, click the Start menu button.
  2. Select All Programs.
  3. Select Windows Update. The Windows Update window will open.
  4. Select Check for updates.
  5. To Install updates, click Install Updates.
