LogMeIn Rescue Technician Console
Follow this procedure to send a single file to a customer via
The customer must be running the Rescue Applet or Calling Card. This
option is not available during Instant Chat in chat-only mode.
The agent's Technician Group must have permission to send files.
You can only send one file at a time.
On the Chat console, click the
Send File button.
Open dialog box is displayed.
Select the file you want to send to the customer and click
The customer is prompted to save the file.
Ask the customer to choose a location and click
The file is saved to the customer's chosen location.
An MD5 fingerprint is
generated and communicated to both the technician and the customer in the log.
