Remote Printing Output is Stuck in the Print Queue

On a Windows PC, clear the print spooler to clean out your queue.

  1. Open Services.
    • On Windows XP, go to Start > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > Administrative Tools, and double-click Services.
    • On Windows 7, 8, and Vista, go to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools, and double-click Services.
  2. In the details pane, click Print Spooler once.
  3. In the left pane, click Stop.

  4. Delete all files in the C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS folder.
  5. In the Services window left pane, click Start.
The print spooler queue is now cleared. Print the file again.
