Body

Any device you use to access a computer in your LogMeIn account is called the client. The client is "welcomed" by the host.

The client can be a PC or Mac, or a phone or tablet running Android or iOS:

  • From a PC or Mac, use the LogMeIn Client desktop app or log in to LogMeIn.com
  • From iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, use the LogMeIn app
  • From an Android device, use the LogMeIn app
Remember: The term "client" is also used for the LogMeIn Client, a desktop app used as a launch pad for accessing your LogMeIn host computers.

Examples: Which device is the client?

You connect to your office computer from your home computer. Your home computer is the client.

You connect to your office computer from your iPhone. Your iPhone is the client.
