You can automatically update the priority class under which a
process runs. This is useful for forcing lengthy, CPU-intensive tasks into the
background on a machine where responsiveness of other processes is critical.
Premier subscription is required to use this feature.
Available on Windows hosts only.
Fastpath: Connect to a Windows computer and go to
Settings > Automatic Priorities
Remember: Once connected, you must
Detailed Mode (Dashboard) to see remote management
Plus icon to create a new priority.
The Automatic Priorities dialog box is displayed.
Enter the name of the executable in the
Process Name field.
Choose the target priority class under
Select one or more
Processor Affinity boxes to force a process to
execute on a specific processor (or processors).
