Autotask material type "Hardware" has been deactivated or renamed

Central requires the built-in Hardware material type to generate and assign tickets in Autotask.

Remember: A Premier subscription is required to use this feature.
  1. Log into your Autotask account.
  2. In the navigation strip, click Admin.

  3. In the left pane, go to Site Setup > Billing Codes.
  4. Select the Material tab.
  5. Hover your mouse over the icon next to the Hardware type to edit.

  6. Make sure that the type is named Hardware (case sensitive) and select Active.
  7. Click Save.
Central ticket generation is restored.
