If you are having trouble with your browser based Rescue Tech Console, a reinstallation can resolve most issues.

To remove the Rescue Technician Console, please follow these instructions.

Internet Explorer 6:

1. Click Tools.
2. Select Internet Options.
3. Choose Settings.
4. Click View Objects.
5. Right-click and remove the Rescue control.

If you get an access denied message, restart IE and try again.

Internet Explorer 7:

1. Click Tools.
2. Select Internet Options.
3. Choose the Programs tab.
4. Click Manage Add-ons.
5. Switch the drop down to Downloaded ActiveX Controls.
6. Find the Rescue technician console and select Delete.

Internet Explorer 8:

1. Click Tools.
2. Select Manage Add-Ons.
3. From the "Show" drop-down, select Downloaded Controls.
4. Click on Rescue Technician Console so it is selected in the list.
5. Click More Information in the bottom left of the window.
6. Click Remove in the bottom left.

Firefox:

1. Go to Tools.
2. Choose Add-ons.
3. Select the Extensions tab.
4. Uninstall the LogMeIn Rescue Technician Console.
